MLA Sidhu, Dy Mayor Johar inaugurate tubewell project in Shimlapuri

Ludhiana, July 18, 2025: To ensure potable water supply to residents, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Deputy Mayor Prince Johar inaugurated the project to install a tubewell in street number 5 of Shimlapuri (ward number 40).
The project to install a 25hp tubewell is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 12.50 lakh.
Deputy Mayor Prince Johar stated that the project is being taken up out of his councillor quota. Fulfilling the demand of the area residents, the tubewell project has been inaugurated and this will streamline the supply of potable water in the areas. The civic body officials have been directed to complete the project at the earliest.
Councillor Jagmeet Noni and residents of the area were present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Kulwant Sidhu and Deputy Mayor Prince Johar further stated that the state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the overall development of the state. They further stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up across the city to develop quality infrastructure and for providing relief to the residents.
