MLA Prashar, Sr Dy Mayor inspect Zone B office for redressing public grievances; direct officials to work with transparency

Ludhiana, May 19, 2025: With an aim to resolve the public grievances, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi conducted an inspection at Zone B office of Municipal Corporation (MC) near Shingar cinema on Monday.
Accompanied by Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar, MC Zonal Commissioner (Zone B) Neeraj Jain among other officials, MLA Prashar directed the officials to work with efficiency and ensure that the public should not face any trouble while getting their work done in civic body offices.
MLA Prashar said that a few residents had raised their concerns in the recent past, following which an inspection was conducted on Monday.
MLA Ashok Prashar and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar also took feedback from the residents. They visited the civic body suvidha kendra and directed the staff to push away agents, if any and ensure that the public is served on 'first come, first served' basis.
MLA Ashok Prashar and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar said that the focus of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is on providing services to the residents in a transparent and efficient way. The officials have been told that lackadaisical approach towards work would not be tolerated and strict departmental action would be taken against them.
MLA Prashar said that he would be conducting inspections in the coming days too as they are committed to serve the public at large.
