MLA Prashar, MC Chief conduct field inspection to ensure cleanliness and development of parks in Vijay Nagar and Industrial area A

Ludhiana, February 17, 2023: With focus on promoting cleanliness and development of parks to provide green spaces to the residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Shena Aggarwal conducted field inspections in Vijay Nagar and Industrial area A on Friday.

The officials visited different parks in the area and the shops allotted by MC under the flyover near Cheema chowk. Area residents were also invited at the site to take their suggestions before commencing the work to develop the parks.

MC Commissioner Dr Shena Aggarwal stated that the tender process is already going on to develop the parks in the area and suggestions submitted by the MLA Prashar and residents of the area will also be incorporated.

MLA Prashar stated that Zonal Commissioner (Zone B) Sonam Chaudhary has been directed to regularly monitor the situation and no compromise will be tolerated especially in terms of cleanliness.

During the site inspection, MLA Prashar and MC Commissioner Dr Aggarwal also directed the concerned staff to conduct regular drives against the illegal slaughtering. 

MLA Prashar stated that the main focus is on cleanliness and development of parks. The officials have been directed to ensure cleanliness and more field visits will be conducted in the coming days to check the situation at the ground level across the central constituency. 

The legislator stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed for overall development of the state and continuous efforts are being made to spread greenery. The officials have been directed to speed up all the development works being taken up in the city.
