MLA Prashar, Mayor Inderjit Kaur launches project to construct concrete roads in Transport Nagar

Ludhiana, June 28, 2025: Moving forward to develop quality road infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur kick started the project to construct concrete roads in Transport Nagar (ward number 30) on Saturday.
Accompanied by councillor Nikku Bharti, MLA Prashar and Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that the project is being taken up at an estimated cost of around 71 lakh.
MLA Prashar stated that they had got concrete roads constructed in Transport Nagar in the past too and the remaining roads are now being covered under the project which has been inaugurated on Saturday.
Feedback was taken from the transporters and decision was taken to construct concrete roads due to movement of heavy vehicles in the area.
MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur stated that state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is working to develop quality infrastructure across the state and every step is being taken to facilitate the residents at large. More projects worth crores would be launched in the coming days.
