MLA Prashar leads 'Yudh Nashean Virudh' awareness march in old city areas; appeal residents to join hands in fight against drugs

Ludhiana, January 11, 2026: Moving forward to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi led 'Yudh Nashean Virudh' awareness march starting from Division number 3 chowk on Sunday.
The awareness march commenced from Division number 3 chowk and continued till Gaushala chowk. Area residents/volunteers participated in the march in large numbers.
MLA Prashar stated that working under the guidance of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government has stepped up the fight against drugs.
While the enforcement agencies are cracking down on the drug peddlers/traffickers, the residents also need to join hands and eradicate this menace of drugs from the society.
MLA Prashar further stated that more such awareness marches would be organised in the coming days and strict action would also be taken against those involved in spreading this menace in the society.
