MLA Prashar lead special cleanliness drive in Kabir Basti; urge residents to support authorities in keeping city clean

Ludhiana, November 28, 2025: With the civic body making rigorous efforts to keep the city clean, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi led the special cleanliness drive in Kabir Basti, Santpura (ward number 74) on Friday.
MLA Prashar spearheaded the cleanliness drive and urged the residents to do their bit in ensuring a pollution free environment by keeping their surroundings clean.
During the cleanliness drive, MLA Prashar also took feedback from the residents and sanitation staff for making improvements at ground level. The legislator also appreciated the efforts put in by sanitation workers for keeping the city clean.
MLA Prashar further stated that the state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to ensure sustainable development and pollution free environment for the residents.
But the goal of ensuring cleanliness across the city cannot be achieved without the active support of the public. The residents should stop dumping waste in the open and spread awareness among others too, added MLA Prashar.
