MLA Prashar kick starts work to reconstruct streets in Vijay Nagar area 

Ludhiana, September 4, 2023: Moving forward with the aim to improve the road infrastructure, Ludhiana central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick started the work to reconstruct the streets in Vijay Nagar area.

The project is being taken up at a cost of Rs 31.46 lakh and MLA Prashar kick started the work in presence of area residents on Monday.

MLA Prashar stated that Vijay Nagar (old ward number 20) now falls under ward number 30. The streets in the area were in bad condition and the residents had apprised him of the situation.

Following this, he took up the matter with the civic body officials and the project to reconstruct the roads has been initiated. 

MLA Prashar stated that they are also working to redevelop a number of parks in the area and continuous efforts are being made to improve the infrastructure.

MLA Prashar stated that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is working for the overall development of the state. A large number of development works are being taken up in Ludhiana central constituency and the authorities have been directed to keep a check on the quality of the works. Strict action will be taken against the concerned contractors or officials, if any discrepancies are found in respect to the quality of works.
