MLA Prashar inspects ongoing work to construct road on the other side of buddha nullah

Ludhiana, December 19, 2023: After issuing the directions to construct a road on the other side of buddha nullah moving through Ludhiana central constituency, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inspected the ongoing work near Kirpal nagar on Tuesday.

The road has to be constructed from Kirpal Nagar to Sundar Nagar via Madhopuri puli.

Inspecting the ongoing works along with the officials of the civic body, MLA Prashar said that the portion, where the road has to be constructed, has been cleared. The officials have now been directed to prepare a project estimate for constructing the road and commence the work at ground level at the earliest.

While conducting inspection, MLA Prashar also met the area residents for getting their feedback in context to construction of the road.

MLA Prashar stated that road is already functional at one side of the buddha nullah. There is no road on the other side of the nullah. Residents have been seeking construction of a road on the other side too for a long time. It will also streamline the movement of traffic in the area.

MLA Prashar said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is working to upgrade infrastructure across the state. Development projects worth crores are going on in Ludhiana central constituency.

MLA Prashar further said that different projects are also being taken up for redevelopment/refurbishment of parks in the constituency.
