MLA Prashar inaugurates project worth Rs 83.10 lakh to renovate three parks in Vijay Nagar

Ludhiana, April 8, 2023: Giving a major push to the development works in Ludhiana Central constituency, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated the project to renovate three parks in Vijay Nagar area (ward number 20) near Dholewal flyover on Saturday. The project is being taken up at a cost of Rs 83.10 lakh. 

MLA Prashar also inaugurated a newly installed tubewell in Indra colony of ward number 20. The tubewell has been installed at a cost of Rs 10.80 lakh. 

The legislator stated that the parks were lying in bad condition for a long time and he had raised the matter with the municipal authorities. The residents of Vijay Nagar area also celebrate 'Chhath Pooja' in one of the three parks, which are being renovated under the project. The suggestions given by the area residents for renovation of parks have also been incorporated.

The authorities have been directed to complete the project within stipulated time period and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of works.

Acknowledging the efforts put in by area residents and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, MLA Prashar stated that the AAP led state government is working for the overall development of the state. More development works would be kick started in Ludhiana central constituency in the coming days.
