MLA Prashar inaugurates project to stop direct sewer inflow into Buddha nullah near Shivpuri puli

Ludhiana, November 2, 2023: With the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government committed to stop pollution in the buddha nullah, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick started a project to stop direct inflow of sewer into buddha nullah near Shivpuri puli on Thursday.

Under this project being taken up at a cost of around Rs 30 lakh, sewer lines would be installed at the site to intercept the sewer inflow.

MLA Prashar stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana central constituency. This project has been initiated to reduce pollution in buddha nullah and similar outlet points are also being intercepted at a few other locations. 

The legislator appealed the residents that they should also support the authorities in reducing the pollution in the nullah by not dumping the solid waste in the nullah.

MLA Prashar stated that AAP led state government is committed for overall development of the state and a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana central constituency. The authorities have been directed to complete the projects within stipulated time period and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the works.
