MLA Prashar inaugurate projects worth over Rs 2 crore to upgrade road infrastructure  

Ludhiana, February 28, 2024: Working to improve road infrastructure in Ludhiana Central constituency, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated different projects worth over Rs 2 crore on Wednesday. 

These projects included the project to reconstruct the road leading to Partap Chowk from Gill road (Overlock road) and the project to install interlocking tiles on the service lane in Loha market on Gill road. These projects are being taken up at a cost of Rs 1.23 crore and 77.29 lakh respectively.
 
MLA Prashar inaugurated the project in the presence of area residents, shopkeepers and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers on Wednesday. The civic body officials were directed to keep a check on the quality of the works and the projects should be completed within stipulated time period.

Reiterating the commitment of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government to develop quality infrastructure across the state, MLA Prashar further stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana Central constituency.

MLA Prashar said that apart from road construction projects, a number of projects are also being taken up to redevelop parks and to streamline supply of potable water by installing tubewells. Feedback is taken from the residents at the planning stage, so that projects can be taken up as per the requirements of the area residents.
