Ludhiana, August 7, 2019: Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Sahnewal Sharanjit Singh Dhillon raised the issue of Ludhiana-Rahon road in Halka Sahnewal by raising the issue in Assembly.
Dhillon briefed the Public Works Department Minister Vijayinder Singla about the tragic situation of a 3-km slope on the Ludhiana side of the road from Ludhiana.
Singla promised the completion of the scheme on June 30, 2020.But when Dhillon had told him about the problems faced by the people due to the bad condition of the road, he assured that work of repairing the road will be started within a week and will put Interlock tile after that
Dhillon said that even though Singla had promised them the repair of the road first and the subsequent construction of the road, if the people's problems were not resolved, they would not back down from every struggle.
