MLA Bagga, Sr Dy Mayor Prashar and MC Chief Dr Gupta hold meeting to expedite devp works, ensure cleanliness

Ludhiana, April 16, 2026: Working actively to expedite the development works and ensure cleanliness, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Neeru Katyal Gupta conducted a review meeting at MC Zone D office on Thursday.
During the meeting, strict directions were issued to the concerned officials that the ongoing works should be completed at the earliest and senior officials should regularly monitor the situation at ground level.
Further, the concerned officials working under the Canal based Water Supply project were directed to work in coordination with the civic body officials, so that the public should not face any kind of trouble at ground level while water supply lines are being laid in the city.
Councillors/leaders including Aman Bagga, Aradhna Surinder Atwal, Pushpinder Bhanot, Ashok Kumar, Manjit Dhillon, Tejinder Raja, Gurvir Golu Bajwa, Manisha Kapoor, Kamraj Sharma, Dashmesh Singh among others participated in the meeting.
MC Joint Commissioner Vineet Kumar among other officials of B&R branch, O&M cell, health branch, building branch were present during the meeting.
MLA Bagga stated that working under the guidance of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, concrete steps are being taken to ensure sustainable development across the constituency.
MLA Bagga further stated that the health branch officials have been directed to ensure cleanliness and regular lifting of garbage from the static compactor sites. No laxity would be tolerated in terms of development works or cleanliness.
