MLA Bagga, MC Chief visit buddha nullah sites, direct concerned officials to expedite work to construct road on the other side of the nullah 

Taking a step forward under the project to construct a road on the other side of the buddha nullah too, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Sandeep Rishi visited different nullah sites on Friday.

Ludhiana, January 12, 2024: Taking a step forward under the project to construct a road on the other side of the buddha nullah too, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Sandeep Rishi visited different nullah sites on Friday. 

The aim was to remove the hurdles in taking up the project to construct the road and expedite a number of development works which are being taken up in the North constituency.

During the inspections conducted in Chander nagar, Vivek Nagar, New deep Nagar among other areas, the concerned officials of MC were directed to remove a few encroachments by private persons, which are becoming a hurdle in the project to construct the road.

Further MLA Bagga also directed the officials to link the gaps, so that the road could be constructed on the other side of the nullah till Chand cinema nullah bridge. 

The legislator also directed the officials to expedite different development projects being taken up in the constituency including the projects to redevelop parks, install tubewells etc.
 
MLA Bagga and MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi said that construction of a road on the other side of the nullah will not only facilitate the residents living in the vicinity of the nullah, but it will also streamline the movement of traffic.

MLA Bagga said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is fulfilling long pending demands of the residents and this project to construct a road on the other side of the buddha nullah would also be commenced soon. No stone is being left unturned to develop quality infrastructure in Ludhiana North constituency.
