MLA Bagga kick starts Rs 23 lakh project to install sewer lines on Chand cinema road and adj. areas
With an aim to upgrade sewer infrastructure and improve sanitation, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga inaugurated the project to install new sewer lines on Chand cinema road and adjoining areas.
Ludhiana, December 14, 2025: With an aim to upgrade sewer infrastructure and improve sanitation, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga inaugurated the project to install new sewer lines on Chand cinema road and adjoining areas.
The area falls under ward number 88 of the civic body and the project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 23 lakh.
Councillor Aman Bagga, councillor Neeraj Ahuja, Sitaram Shankar, Ravi Sethi, Iqbal Goldy, Mintu Toor, Raju, Munni Aadia, Fakir Chand, Timmy, Raja Ram, Reshi, Karan Toor, Kulwant Singh among others were present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Bagga stated that no sewer line was installed in the area and it was a missing link due to which residents had been facing problems due to waterlogging during rainy season. The residents have been demanding installation of new sewer lines in the area for a long time and their demand has now been fulfilled.
MLA Bagga further stated that installation of new sewer lines will also improve sanitation in the area and the civic body officials have been directed to ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of works.
MLA Bagga further stated that working under the guidance of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, a large number of development works are being taken up for facilitating the residents at ground level and for ensuring sustainable development.
