MLA Bagga and MLA Prashar lead special cleanliness drives; direct officials to ensure hygiene in every ward

Ludhiana, May 17, 2025: With an aim to ensure hygiene and pollution free environment, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi led special cleanliness drives in their respective constituencies on Saturday.
While MLA Bagga led the drive from Jwala Singh chowk in ward number 93, MLA Prashar led the cleanliness drive at the backside of civil hospital in ward number 78.
MLA Bagga and MLA Prashar stated that these special drives are being taken up under the mega cleanliness drive launched in the past. Special cleanliness drives are being conducted in every ward of the city to ensure environmental hygiene.
Lauding the tireless efforts of sanitation staff to keep the city clean, MLAs Bagga and Prashar appealed to the public to stop dumping waste at open sites/vacant plots and support the authorities in keeping the city clean and green.
MLA Bagga and MLA Prashar said that state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to ensure sustainable development and pollution free environment for the residents.
MLA Bagga and MLA Prashar said that they have been taking the stock of the situation at ground level and officials have also been directed to move to the field and ensure cleanliness in every aspect.
