Mizoram Governor to chair LPUNEST Study grant Award Ceremony at LPU on 18th July

Jalandhar: LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test) Study Grant 2nd and 3rd editions’ award ceremony will be held on 18th July 2022 at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of Lovely Professional University (LPU). The ceremony will be chaired by Governor of Mizoram, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati. The event will witness distribution of Rs 2.11 crores study grant to 211 meritorious students of the country for its 2nd and 3rd editions.

LPU management has generously devised the LPUNEST study grant for meritorious students of the country. Here, each of the successful students get Rs one lakh, per student, to study at top institutions like IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (IDC/ DoD)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs, on qualifying LPUNEST-2022.

In fact, LPU strongly believes that monetary constraints should not be an impediment for a deserving student to get quality education. So, LPU extends a unique scholarship scheme to students for studying in LPU on various parameters, on qualifying examinations. Basis LPUNEST, students can also avail Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards. There are other special scholarships also for orphans, physically handicapped or students from defence and armed services’ background.

In augmenting the spirit for the pursuit of quality education for all; LPU constantly expands its scholarships and financial assistance schemes. Its first edition was held in 2019.
