‘Mixology Workshop’ at GNA University

Jalandhar, November 25, 2021: GNA University organised one day workshop on ‘‘Mixology’’ by Mr. Kuldeep Chauhan, MD Bar Academy of Doon. The key objective behind organizing this workshop was to make students aware of key trends in bar industry, build strong basics for mixology and to give brief idea of flairing. 
The workshop was delivered by the Celebrity Bartender Mr. Kuldeep Chauhan having the experience of more than a decade as bartender with prestigious national and international hotel chains and bars in India and abroad. The session was focussed on introduction of cocktail families, different methods of cocktail making, classic and contemporary cocktails, and art of flairing. The session was well received by the students, wherein their queries were also taken and duly answered by the expert. 
In the end, Dr. V.K. Rattan, Vice-Chancellor, GNA University presented memento as a token of gratitude to the guest.  S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University said, “Such workshops are important to prepare the students to hone new skills in their career advancement in hospitality industry.” 
Dr. V.K. Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Raj Kumar Mahajan, the Registrar and Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics and other dignitaries from GNA University also graced the event.
