Mission Clean Punjab: MLA Prashar launches major cleanliness drive in Daulat colony, inaugurate tubewell
Moving forward under the 'Mission Clean Punjab', Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi launched a major cleanliness drive in Daulat Colony (ward number 10) on Tuesday.
Ludhiana, September 8, 2026: Moving forward under the 'Mission Clean Punjab', Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi launched a major cleanliness drive in Daulat Colony (ward number 10) on Tuesday.
During the drive, awareness was also spread among the residents regarding solid waste management.
Further MLA Prashar also inaugurated a newly installed 12.5hp tubewell. The tubewell has been installed at a cost of around Rs 6.50 lakh.
Councillor Pardeep Sharma Gabby among other civic body officials were also present during the cleanliness drive.
MLA Prashar further said that working under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann their focus is on promoting cleanliness and hygiene. The concerned officials have also been directed to check the attendance of sweepers on a regular basis. Development projects worth crores are being taken up to develop quality infrastructure.
MLA Prashar further appealed to the residents to support the authorities in keeping the city clean. The residents have been appealed to adopt different techniques to reduce, reuse and recycle household waste.
MLA Prashar said that he himself has been monitoring the situation at ground level and feedback is also being taken from the residents to make further improvements.
