Ludhiana, Sep 24, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Wednesday called on Ludhiana residents to unite in support of flood-affected areas of the state, emphasizing the urgent need for collective assistance. 
Highlighting the on-going efforts by the state government to address the crisis, Jain stressed that more support is critical to meet the extensive needs of those impacted by the devastating floods. He urged industrialists, social organizations, and NGOs to step forward and contribute to the relief efforts. 
Jain highlighted Mission Chardi Kala, a global campaign was launched by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to mobilize funds for the rehabilitation of flood victims and the restoration of the state’s affected regions. He exhorted the people together to rebuild and restore hope for fellow Punjabis, by ensuring widespread participation in this vital initiative.
