METRO Honours Culinary Skills at the 10th Annual Chef Awards 2013

Chandigarh, November 27, 2013: METRO Cash & Carry India, the International Leader in Self-Service Business-to-Business Wholesale recognised the culinary skills of over 700 chefs from across Food & Beverage industry of North India and honoured their contributions to the industry at ‘The International Chefs Day’, conducted in association with Indian Culinary Forum and supported by IFCA and WACS.

The Top 600 chefs from North India participated in the event, with a competition being held amongst participants from the top hotels, restaurants, bakeries, confectioneries and catering businesses of the country. The competition, held at the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology last month, was centred around the theme “Modern Indian Cuisine”.

Rajeev Bakshi, Managing Director, METRO Cash and Carry India congratulated all the winners and thanked all the participants and guests for their contribution and efforts to make this event a grand success.
