Panchkula, May 17, 2022: Meshaan Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that conducts different socially beneficial projects, celebrated its founder's day - 'Meshaan Day' with great fervour at Yavanika Open Air Theatre, Sector 5 here . The purpose of the program was to express gratitude to all its members and supporters. The chief guest at the occasion was Dr. Richa Rathi, SDM Panchkula and celebrity guests were RJ Manav and Deepali Rajput, who is a Punjabi actress known for her roles in 'The Great Sardar' and 'Jinne Jamme Saare Nikamme'.
The program started with the opening address of Dr. Prabhjot Guron, Founder of Meshaan Foundation, who shared information about the event and also highlighted all the social work done by the Foundation in the last 3 years. Dr. Guron also briefed the audience about the Foundation's contribution to society. The address was followed by a lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest.
The highlight of the event was a skit presented by children associated with Meshaan Foundation that was based on two important projects undertaken by the Foundation - Menstrual Hygiene and Self Defense for Girls.
The foundation honoured its supporters - Open Eyes Foundation, Forever Friends, Shastang Martial Arts etc.
While addressing the audience, the chief guest Dr. Richa Rathi, SDM Panchkula said, “I am very impressed with the work of the member children of Meshaan Foundation and will support the team in their further projects.”
The program ended with a live dance performance by M.A Dance studio Panchkula, the Meshaan members and supporters.
