Mehndi competition organised at DIPS College

Jalandhar, October 23, 2021: DIPS College (co-educational) Dhilwan organised Mehndi competition to enlighten the students on the significance of festivals on the occasion of Karva Chauth. Students from various courses participated in the competition to exhibit their creativity. They applied Henna on their classmates’ hands artistically. Nail art and thali decoration competition were also organised.
Students performed beautifully Arabian, bridal, Arabic, Indo Arabic and Pakistani style Henna. Moreover student also exquisitely exhibited nail art and beautifully thali decoration. The winners were applauded and awarded with certificates. This competition was conduct under the supervision of College Professor Rohini.
College coordinator Harpreet enlightened students about the festival Karva Chauth and its significance as married woman keep fast and pray for the long lives of their husbands. 
CEO remarked that DIPS always set an example to students to keep them close to their traditions so that they remain inclined towards their rich culture heritage.
