When two performers are perfectly in sync, magic happens — and that is exactly what viewers can expect in the upcoming dance sequences of Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani. Megha Ray, who plays Divya in the Sun Neo show, reveals how dancing with her co-star Suraj Pratap Singh has been a creatively fulfilling experience, full of improvisation, chemistry, and shared rhythm.
“Honestly, I’ve never had this much fun shooting a dance sequence,” Megha Ray shared. “For the first time, I’m dancing with a co-actor who matches my energy step for step. Suraj is such a fantastic dancer. We share the same rhythm, the same unspoken understanding. If he moves a certain way, I instinctively know what to do next. That comfort lets us play with the choreography, add lifts, improvise, and create something that feels effortless and in sync.”
While the choreography is handled by professionals, Megha believes that adding a personal touch is an essential part of an actor’s craft. “I think I’ve brought my own style into the sequence. We have amazing choreographers, but as actors and performers, it’s our responsibility to bring in the emotions, the nuances, the chemistry. We know our characters best. So while the choreographers guide the steps, we bring the soul. Whether it’s an extra twirl, a more expressive movement, or a spontaneous moment with Suraj, that’s what makes it ours.”
This playful yet powerful dance performance is a treat for fans, not just for the choreography but for the electric chemistry between Divya and Prem. Megha adds, “Dance is storytelling without words. And when you have a partner who speaks that language with you, it becomes truly magical.”
