Mega Health Checkup Camp at Khedi Sadh village; 140 examined

The Department of Community Medicine at PGIMS, Rohtak, under the supervision of Dr. Varun Arora and Dr. Himani, organized a mega health camp in Khedi Sadh village. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Neelam Kumar, Head of the Department.

Rohtak, March 10, 2026. The Department of Community Medicine at PGIMS, Rohtak, under the supervision of Dr. Varun Arora and Dr. Himani, organized a mega health camp in Khedi Sadh village. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Neelam Kumar, Head of the Department.

Approximately 140 patients were examined and provided appropriate counseling. Dr. Varun Arora said that free medicines, spectacles, and other items were distributed to needy patients at the camp. He emphasized that one should prioritize their health, and a health check-up should be done once a year after the age of 40 on a must basis.

HOD Dr. Neelam Kumarsaid that the objective of this mega health camp was to strengthen health services in rural areas.

During the camp, villagers from five villages - Khedi Sadh, Makdauli Khurd, Makdauli Kalan, Bhaiyapur Ladhaut, and Bhaiyapur - were screened and provided medical treatment. A team consisting of Dr. Vidipta, Dr. Vidant, Dr. Palak, Dr. Nisha Dalal, Dr. Aanchal, and Dr. Sonali examined the villagers and distributed free medicines to the needy ones. Additionally, a team consisting of Dr. Jagriti, Dr. Shubhanshi, and Dr. Prachi did the dental checkup.

Block Educator Satyawan Balhara said that mega health camps are held annually in these five villages as part of the Family Adoption Program. In continuation of this, a mega health camp will be held in Ladhaut village on March 19th.
