Meeting with nodal officers of all government health institutions of district Kapurthala 

Kapurthala, July 19, 2022: Health Department Kapurthala held a meeting with the nodal officers of all government health institutions of district Kapurthala at District Tanning Center with the aim of maintaining the excellent performance in the Kaya Kalp campaign conducted under Swachh Bharat.

Addressing the meeting, Civil Surgeon Dr. Gurinderbir Kaur said that the health department is committed to provide good health facilities to the people. She said that under this campaign, the quality of health centers is tested on the basis of points such as waste management, hygiene promotion, support service and infection control management. She instructed all the nodal officers to keep their health institutions clean and provide all the facilities provided by the government to the patients. Kaya Kalp Campaign District Program Officer Dr. Sandeep Bhola said that the aim of this campaign is to promote hygiene, infection control, etc. in government health centers and remove the misconceptions people have about government health centers. Speaking on this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Gurinderbir Kaur said that last year various health institutions of district Kapurthala had won a total of 19 awards.

Dr. Gurinderbir Kaur said that she hopes that they will maintain this quality in the future as well. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Gurinderbir Kaur also held a discussion with the senior medical officers, doctors and paramedical staff from different blocks regarding the smooth implementation of health facilities at the lower level. On this occasion, DMC Dr. Sandeep Bhola, DFPO Dr. Ashok Kumar, SMO Dr. Sandeep Dhawan, Deputy Mass Media Officer Sharandeep Singh, Dr. Subhra, BEE Ravinder Jasal, Prabhat Sharma and senior medical officers, doctors and paramedical staff members from different blocks were present.

Instructions regarding vaccination of pregnant women and children
Civil surgeon Dr. During the meeting, Gurinderbir Kaur also gave special attention to the vaccination of pregnant women and children and said that no pregnant women and children should be deprived of routine vaccination in the area under any health institution of district Kapurthala. On this occasion, the civil surgeon also discussed about various health programs. On this occasion, Dr. Gagan from WHO presented the statistics related to the performances of the district. On this occasion DIO Dr. Randeep Singh also addressed the meeting.
