Chandigarh: The convenor of Joint Employees' Union, Bipin Sher Singh, who is also a lecturer at the Computer Department of Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology, Sector 26, planted medicinal saplings along-with his wife and others at the college premises.

Bipin Sher Singh planted the saplings on the occasion of completing 25 years of service with the institution. Addressing the gathering, Bipin laid emphasis on the importance of plants and environment conservation. He also motivated the people present at the occasion to plant at least one tree in their life.

Speaking on this occasion, Prabhu Nath Shahi, President, National Veteran Forum of Employees from Chandigarh, congratulated  Bipin Sher Singh and said, “Bipin ji has been giving awareness on 'environment' to many people for several decades. His enthusiasm and compassion towards the environment are highly appreciable. And I hope that he will do more such activities in the future and make more people aware about environmental issues.”

An educationist R K Kapoor said that Bipin Sher Singh is a very hard-working, disciplined, and admirable teacher. He is not just the favourite of his students but also well-known for raising his voice for the genuine demands of the employees of Chandigarh. During the occasion, the entire team of All Contractual Employees Morcha offered a bouquet of flowers to Bipin Sher Singh and his wife.
