Medical Teachers Association demands resolution of long-Pending faculty issues

Rohtak, September 8, 2025: A General Body Meeting of The BPS Medical Teachers Association, Khanpur Kalan was organized today to discuss the redressal of their issues. The Association has submitted a request to The Director, BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan for resolution of long-Pending faculty issues at the institute.

Association President Dr. Mukesh Kumar said that the major issues include Grant of Earned Leave at par with other State Government Medical Colleges as per UHS Rohtak/DMER instructions. Pay fixation anomaly of re-designated Professors, in line with UHS/DMER guidelines; Non-payment of remuneration for university counseling duties, unlike PGIMS faculty, despite UHS instructions; Grant of academic allowance during vacation periods, as is provided in other State Government Medical Colleges; Clearance of pending TA bills of faculty; Non-installation of ACs in OPDs, demo rooms, and faculty chambers, despite assurance given in the April meeting are other major issues raised in the request.

The GBM condemned the unnecessary faculty harassment and unanimously decided that another reminder of the issues to be given to the Director. It was also decided that if the matter is still ignored by the institutional authorities, the MTA will be compelled to take further necessary action next week as per constitution/rules like wearing  black badges, pen down strike, mass casual leaves, resignation from additional charges given by institutional authority etc.

The copy of reminder has been sent to Haryana CM, Nayab Singh Saini;  Health and Medical Education Minister Arti Singh Rao alongwith ACS, Medical Education and Research and Director, Medical Education and Research, Govt of Haryana.
