Jalandhar, April 22, 2026: A media exposure visit was conducted today at the District Public Relations Office (DPRO), with the participation of 26 students from Class 12 (Journalism) of B. C. M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School.
The visit was coordinated with the Deputy Director Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Puneet Pal Singh Gill and Assistant Public Relations Officer (APRO) Jatinder Kohli and Gurmukh Singh, who interacted with the students and shared insights into media functioning and public communication systems. The session aimed to provide students with practical exposure to media operations and the role of government in information dissemination.
During the visit, students gained an understanding of media coordination, press note drafting, and government outreach mechanisms. The initiative proved to be informative, offering valuable real-world learning experience and helping students explore career opportunities in journalism and mass communication.
