Rohtak, August 5, 2026: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia paid a courtesy visit to the University's Chancellor and Haryana Governor, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, at Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, VC Prof. Punia presented a bouquet to the Governor and extended his warm greetings. He also briefed the Chancellor on the University's academic, research, and administrative activities.
The discussions focused on enhancing the quality of higher education, promoting innovation and research, and advancing the University's overall development. Various issues related to strengthening academic excellence and institutional growth were discussed in a positive and constructive atmosphere.
Prof. Punia expressed gratitude to the Governor for his continued guidance and support towards the development of the University and the welfare of its students.
