MDU VC Prof. Milap Punia calls for strict adherence to the Examination Conduct
Smooth, fair and transparent conduct of examination must be the topmost priority of the University and the affiliated colleges. Stopping the menace of copying too must be a top priority. The University administration in close co- ordination with the affiliated colleges would work together to smoothly conduct the forthcoming Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) as well as professional programme(s) examination. The Vice Chancellor of MDU, Rohtak Prof. Milap Punia said this in an important meeting with the Principal(s)/ Director(s) of affiliated colleges/ institutes.
Rohtak, May 7, 2026: Smooth, fair and transparent conduct of examination must be the topmost priority of the University and the affiliated colleges. Stopping the menace of copying too must be a top priority. The University administration in close co- ordination with the affiliated colleges would work together to smoothly conduct the forthcoming Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) as well as professional programme(s) examination. The Vice Chancellor of MDU, Rohtak Prof. Milap Punia said this in an important meeting with the Principal(s)/ Director(s) of affiliated colleges/ institutes.
The meeting held both in offline and online was organized under the aegis of the Controller of Examination (COE) office and the Conduct Branch of the University. Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. A. S. Maan, Registrar Prof. Sandeep Bansal, Controller of Examination Prof. Rahul Rishi, Chief Consultant (Examination) Dr. Mahabir Singh Dhankar, Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee were prominent among those who attended the meeting.
VC Prof. Milap Punia categorically said that use of unfair means in examinations must be combated with an iron hand. Use of mobile phones and miscellaneous electronic devices must strictly be prohibited during the examination. Stating that the examination process is sacrosanct, the Vice Chancellor exhorted the Principals to ensure fair conduct of ensuing examination(s).
Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. A. S. Maan & Registrar Prof. Sandeep Bansal addressed the meeting and emphasized on collective, concerted efforts for smooth conduct of examination.
COE Prof. Rahul Rishi shared detailed guidelines regarding the University examination. He requested the Principals/ Directors to ensure personal supervision for strict implementation of the University examination related guidelines. Officials of the Examination Wing were present in the meeting.
