MDU Teachers' Association Election to be held on July 6
The election schedule for the MDU Teachers' Association (MDUTA) for the year 2026 has been announced. MDUTA Administrator-cum-Returning Officer Prof. Wazir Nehra (Retired) and Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) and former Superintendent Radheshyam issued a notification on Friday, announcing the election dates for the posts of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and eight Executive Committee members.
Rohtak, June 19, 2026: The election schedule for the MDU Teachers' Association (MDUTA) for the year 2026 has been announced. MDUTA Administrator-cum-Returning Officer Prof. Wazir Nehra (Retired) and Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) and former Superintendent Radheshyam issued a notification on Friday, announcing the election dates for the posts of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and eight Executive Committee members.
According to the notification, nomination papers can be filed at the MDUTA office on July 1 and 2 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Scrutiny of the nomination papers will take place on July 2 at 3:00 PM, while the preliminary list of candidates will be displayed at 4:00 PM on the same day. Candidates may withdraw their nominations until 12:00 PM on July 3, and the final list of candidates will be released at 2:00 PM.
Voting for the election will be held on July 6 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. At MDU CPAS Gurugram, voting will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Vote counting will commence after the voting concludes, followed by the declaration of results.
As per the notification, only those members whose names appear in the final voter list will be eligible to vote and contest the election. Administrator-cum-Returning Officer Prof. Wazir Nehra clarified that the election for the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Committee members will be conducted via secret ballot under a direct democratic system.
