MDU felicitates the players who participated in various tournaments

Rohtak, May 10, 2025: A dignified ceremony was organized today at the sports complex of Maharshi Dayanand University, in which Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh felicitated the players who participated in North Zone/North East Zone and All India Inter University Tournaments.
While felicitating the players, VC Prof. Rajbir Singh said that the players of MDU are the pride and the glory of the university. He said that the players of MDU have not only shown excellence in sports, but have also increased the prestige of the university in front of the entire country. He encouraged the players to maintain excellence in sports as well as education.
Guest of Honor, Registrar Dr. Krishan Kant encouraged the players to give better performance. He said that physical activities increase the energy level and increase the concentration of the students. He called upon the players to contribute significantly in connecting the society with sports by becoming vigilant sentinels of health awareness.
Dean, Student Welfare Prof. Randeep Rana was present as a special guest. In his presidential address MDU Sports Council President Dr. Narender Singh said that sports provide an opportunity to work together towards a common goal.
Sports Director Dr. Shakuntala Beniwal welcomed at the beginning and highlighted MDU's glorious sports development journey and sports achievements. Dr. Shakuntala Beniwal expressed gratitude at the end. The players were rewarded by giving them track suits and kit bags. University sports officials, coaches, teachers, players and students were present on the occasion.
