Rohtak, July 13, 2026: Entrance examinations for admission to various postgraduate (PG) courses at MDU for the academic session 2026-27 commenced on Tuesday and will continue until July 17.

Director of Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee stated that in the MA (Public Administration) entrance exam held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, 73 candidates appeared while 22 were absent; for the MSc (Forensic Science) exam, 85 candidates appeared and 20 were absent; and for the M.Com exam, 85 candidates appeared while 36 were absent.

In the MA (Sociology) entrance exam held from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM, 99 candidates appeared and 31 were absent. For the entrance exams for MBA, MBA (SFS), and MBA (Business Psychology), 671 candidates appeared and 142 were absent. For the MTTM and MHMCT entrance exams, 37 candidates appeared and 9 were absent. Entrance exams for courses under the Department of Psychology and for MA (Guidance and Counselling) were also conducted.

Director PR informed that entrance exams for MSc (Chemistry), MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), MSc (Mathematics), MSc (Physics), and various courses in the Life Sciences group will be held on July 14. Meanwhile, entrance exams for MA (Political Science), the Common Entrance Test for the three-year LLB (Honours) course, MA (History), and LLM will take place on July 15. The results of the entrance exams will be declared on July 20, and the first provisional merit list will be released on July 21. The first round of physical counseling will begin on July 23, and classes for the new session will start on August 1.
