MC Mamta Ashu dedicates a newly developed green belt in Dugri Phase-2 for Rs 41 lakh

Ludhiana: In order to ensure top-class civic facilities in the city, Municipal Councillor Mamta Ashu, on behalf of Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu on Friday inaugurated a newly developed green belt in Phase-2 Urban Estate Dugri in ward-44 by Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA). It has been built at the cost of Rs 41 lakh. 

Accompanied by MC Councillor Harkarandeep Singh Vaid, Barjinder Kaur, and Eknoor Singh Karwal, Mamta Ashu said that the project would usher in a new era of development in the area. She said that in upcoming days, an open gym, a PlayStation for the children, and urinals would also be built here to facilitate the people of the ward. 

She said that development works worth crores being undergoing in the entire city and these would further accelerate the pace of development. Ashu said the directions have been issued to the officials for the timely completion of the other projects 
She added that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is making concerted efforts for the all-around development of Ludhiana and these key projects will pave the way for the transformation of urban development.

Meanwhile, Harkarandeep Singh Vaid thanked Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu for ensuring holistic development of the Ludhiana. He said that under the guidance of Gill MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid, the constituency is being developed as a model constituency.
