MC Commissioner Ojasvi Alankar Visits Focal Point on CICU's Request, Assures Resolution of Key Industrial Issues
A delegation of the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), led by its President, Upkar Singh Ahuja, along with Honey Sethi, Dr. S.B. Singh, Kanish Kaura, Didarjeet Singh Lotey, and Ajay Bharti, met Ojasvi Alankar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, at his office to discuss various civic and infrastructure issues affecting the Focal Point industrial area.

Ludhiana, June 18, 2026: A delegation of the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), led by its President, Upkar Singh Ahuja, along with Honey Sethi, Dr. S.B. Singh, Kanish Kaura, Didarjeet Singh Lotey, and Ajay Bharti, met Ojasvi Alankar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, at his office to discuss various civic and infrastructure issues affecting the Focal Point industrial area.
Responding positively to the concerns, Ojasvi Alankar visited the Focal Point industrial area along with officials of the Municipal Corporation for an on-site review of the issues. During the visit, Rahul Ahuja, Convener of Apex Chamber, Rajiv Jain, Saravjit Singh and other industrial representatives accompanied the Commissioner and highlighted several pressing concerns being faced by industries.
The major issues discussed included installation and repair of street lights at dark spots, improvement of the sewerage system before the upcoming rainy season, connectivity of NH-40 with GT Road, adoption and maintenance of unused parks by industries, removal of encroachments, and addressing unauthorized garbage dumping in and around the industrial area.
Rahul Ahuja, Convener of Apex Chamber appreciated the proactive approach of the Municipal Commissioner and thanked him for personally visiting the area to understand the ground realities. Ojasvi Alankar assured the industry representatives that the Municipal Corporation would take necessary steps and initiate appropriate action to resolve the genuine issues on priority.
CICU expressed confidence that the visit will strengthen coordination between the industry and civic administration and contribute towards improving infrastructure and the overall business environment in the Focal Point industrial estate.
