Mayor Inderjit Kaur, MLA Grewal launch major project worth Rs 95 lakh to install water supply lines in Grewal Colony

Ludhiana, March 14, 2026: Reiterating their commitment to ensure potable water supply to every household, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur and Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal inaugurated a major project to install new water supply lines in Grewal colony of ward number 13 on Sunday.
The old water supply lines had deteriorated over the time and the new lines are now being laid in the area at a cost of around Rs 95 lakh. Area residents/volunteers were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur and MLA Grewal stated that the residents of the area had raised the issue in past and demanded replacement of water supply lines.
Fulfilling the demand of the residents, the project to lay new water supply lines has been launched and the concerned officials have been directed to complete the project within stipulated time period.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur and MLA Grewal stated that working under the guidance of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann and Local Bodies minister Sanjeev Arora, they are working tirelessly to upgrade the infrastructure and to facilitate the residents at large. Be it water-sewer lines, installation of tubewells, reconstruction of roads etc, major projects are being taken up to develop quality infrastructure for residents at the ground level.
