Under the same series, 11 more super seeder machines will also be handed over by Max to farmers through the district administration, he asserted.
Kulwant Singh said that due contribution is being made by environmentalists and humanitarian organizations to protect the environment from pollution.

Under its first phase, 6 super seeder Machines were handed over to multipurpose agricultural cooperative societies of Gharuan, Bhago Majra, Dappar, Kurli, Hulka and Manakpurpur Sarid, he informed.

Meanwhile the super seeder machines are a viable solution for crop residue management. It will have an impact on stubble burning issues in Punjab as it is useful for removing stubble & roots of paddy, sugarcane, cotton, banana, maize and various other crops. The machine is a single pass solution to fulfill current farming needs to stop crop residue burning thus checking stubble burning which causes pollution on a large scale. A single machine is enough to manage the crop residue of 30-35 acre of land/day subject to availability of tractor, field condition, driver availability etc.
