Max Healthcare Foundation to fund education of 250 meritorious MBBS students in its 4th Year

Max Healthcare Foundation on Wednesday announced the launch of the fourth edition of its flagship Max Medical Scholarship Programme, expanding its annual intake to up to 250 new students this year, compared with 100 students in previous years. The expansion will significantly widen the programme’s reach and enable more meritorious students from economically weaker sections to pursue medical education.

Mohali, September 16, 2026: Max Healthcare Foundation on Wednesday announced the launch of the fourth edition of its flagship Max Medical Scholarship Programme, expanding its annual intake to up to 250 new students this year, compared with 100 students in previous years. The expansion will significantly widen the programme’s reach and enable more meritorious students from economically weaker sections to pursue medical education.
The scholarship will fully fund the medical education of up to 250 new students this year who have qualified for the NEET examination and secured admission to MBBS program in government medical colleges across Mohali , Bathinda, Dehradun, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Bhubaneswar for the academic year 2026-27.
In addition to creating new opportunities for fresh applicants, the Max Medical Scholarship programme will continue to fund education of students awarded in previous years, now in the second, third and fourth year of medical education, ensuring continuous support throughout their academic journey.
The programme is part of Max Healthcare Foundation’s corporate social responsibility efforts to nurture and uplift the next generation of medical professionals.
Taruna Soi, Chairperson-Max Healthcare Foundation, said, “Over the past three years, the programme has supported 245 students in pursuing their medical education. This year, we are significantly expanding the programme to support up to 250 new students, enabling many more deserving students to pursue their dream of becoming doctors without the burden of financial constraints.”
