Matrabhasha Diwas function organized in Doaba College

Jalandhar, March 15, 2022:  Student Welfare Committee of Doaba College organized Matrabhasha Diwas on Online mode in which students participated through various competitions such as Declamation, Folk Song, Folk Dance. Videos of these activities were duly uploaded on official Facebook page of Doaba College Jalandhar. Students were requested to like and share those videos to motivate other fellow students. 

Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that it is a matter of great pride that the UNESCO has declared 21st Feb as International Mother Language Day. In India Matrabhasha Diwas is celebrated to promote the use of mother language and to highlight the linguistic diversity of our country. The results were declared  based on likes, shares and by the opinion of judgment panel.
