Ludhiana, June 25, 2023: Mass checking was organised in Sunder Nagar Division of PSPCL with coordination of Punjab Police.
Domestic and commercial connection were checked in which 75 cases of theft were detected and fine of approximately 15 lacs was imposed.
Unauthorised colonies were found indulged in illegally tapping PSPCL LT lines and promoting theft of power.
Punjab Police has been requested to register FIR against all the delinquent consumers and promoters of unauthorized colonies, said an official of PSPCL here today.
