Maple Riders won Centra Premiere League Season 4

Ludhiana, May 16, 2022: In a thriller final match extended till last over Maple Riders lift the CPL Season 4 title after beating Hazel kings by 5 wickets. Earlier, hazel kings put 65 runs on the board for loss of 2 wickets. Chasing 66 runs to win, Maple Riders pursued the target of 66 runs with 2 balls remaining mainly contributed by Tejinder Gandhi (23) and Vibhanshu Bhasin (22). At the end 11 runs were needed in the last over but Vibhanshu Bhasin smashed a six and four to reach the goal. He also took a wicket and was given man of the match. Previously, Hazel Kings captain Parvesh smacked 4 sixes and scored blistering 27 (12) runs.

The luxurious township “Centra Greens” situated on Pakhowal Road organized a cricket tournament between five teams. This two days event enthusiast its residents and thousands of viewers also witnessed it live through various mediums. Man of the series were given to Amit Garg who took 13 wickets during the season. Tejinder Gandhi was given as best batsman and Lakhwinder from Centra Lions took hat-trick. 

The residents of Centra Greens enjoyed this gala event with cheerfulness. Centra Management also organized dinner party for their residents on both days. On this occasion the directors of Centra Greens Rajeev Bhalla, Amit Bhalla and Sanjeev Bhalla congratulated their residents on the success of this tournament. They also announced the prize money of Rs. 1,51,000 to winner team, Rs.51,000 for runner-up and Rs.31000 for rest of the teams.
