Chandigarh, October 27, 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has ushered in a new and revolutionary era in the state’s education system. The government’s clear vision is to transform the destiny of Punjab’s youth — to make them not just job seekers but job givers. This far-sighted vision lays the foundation for realizing the dream of a vibrant and prosperous ‘Rangla Punjab’.

The core principle of the Mann Government’s policies is “equality of opportunity.” It is being ensured that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. In this direction, all students studying in the ‘Schools of Eminence,’ established with an investment of ₹231.74 crore, are being provided free uniforms and bus services, benefiting especially girl students. During his interaction with students at the School of Eminence in Morinda, the Chief Minister emphasized that these “modern temples of learning” are restoring parents’ faith in the public education system.

Recognizing that school education alone is not enough in today’s era, the Schools of Eminence are offering specialized coaching to students for competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE, CLAT, NIFT, and defence services. CM Mann stated that this initiative is empowering Punjab’s youth to compete globally and prepare themselves to meet the challenges of the future.

The Punjab Government’s consistent efforts have enabled students from government schools to achieve remarkable success at the national level. According to the figures shared by the Chief Minister, 265 students from government schools cleared JEE Mains, 74 qualified JEE Advanced, and 848 cracked NEET. This outstanding performance proves that with proper guidance and facilities, Punjab’s youth can rise to any challenge.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that his government is not only taking unprecedented measures to provide employment opportunities to the youth but also channelizing their boundless energy towards constructive growth. This commitment to make them “Job Givers” instead of “Job Seekers” inspires young minds to go beyond government jobs — to become entrepreneurs, innovators, and active contributors to the state’s economic development.

To make education more impactful and to cultivate leadership qualities, the ‘School Mentorship Program’ has also been launched. Under this initiative, senior state officials mentor students of government schools, offering them real-world exposure, motivation, and career guidance. This unique effort helps students grow into confident and future-ready young leaders.

The Mann Government firmly believes that education is the greatest form of empowerment. This is not just a reform — it’s a revolution that frees youth from a job-seeking mindset and shapes them into capable, confident citizens. It is evident that through these education reforms, Punjab’s future shines bright — a future where every young individual not only realizes their dreams but also contributes actively to building a *strong, self-reliant, and ‘Rangla Punjab’.

This transformative step is all set to give new momentum to the state’s development journey.
