The Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Rohtak organised Management Conclave 2026, which was attended by over 300 students and faculty members. The distinguished keynote session was addressed by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Devi Shetty, who deliberated on how India is reshaping the quality of healthcare through digital platforms, insurance innovation, and large-scale access. He also noted that technology-driven and affordable models are not only facilitating accessible quality healthcare but also positioning India as a global leader in inclusive healthcare delivery.

Rohtak, January 11, 2026: The Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Rohtak organised Management Conclave 2026, which was attended by over 300 students and faculty members. The distinguished keynote session was addressed by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Devi Shetty, who deliberated on how India is reshaping the quality of healthcare through digital platforms, insurance innovation, and large-scale access. He also noted that technology-driven and affordable models are not only facilitating accessible quality healthcare but also positioning India as a global leader in inclusive healthcare delivery.

The conclave brought together industry stalwarts from reputed organisations such as PepsiCo, Nestlé, ITC Infotech, NTPC Green Energy, SBICAP Securities Limited, Ashok Leyland, Narayana Health, Delhivery, Legrand and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, among several others. The panellists shared insights drawn from years of professional experience across leadership, marketing, strategy, finance, and human resources to equip students for an increasingly interconnected and evolving business environment.

The Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Koustab Ghosh, inaugurated the conclave by welcoming the speakers and acknowledging the student bodies for their efforts, teamwork and dedication. Reflecting on “Culture without Borders,” he highlighted how globalisation, rapid technological evolution and shifting economic realities are making leadership more complex and value driven. He also added that hybrid work and shrinking consumer attention spans are reshaping how organisations build trust, collaboration, and stability and continuity of networks in the current paradigmatic conflicts.

In the inaugural session, the MD & CEO, SBICAP Securities Limited, drew on her professional and personal experiences to reflect on the aspirations and challenges of Generation Z. She spoke about self-awareness, emotional intelligence, collaboration, and the importance of building one’s own purpose and professional identity. The CEO of NTPC Green & NTPC Renewable Energy shared insights on leadership, collaboration, networking, and building organisations in a globalised, tech-enabled world. The speakers encouraged students to focus on long-term career choices, strong interpersonal skills, and stakeholder alignment, highlighting that meaningful work, adaptability, and human connection remain central to sustainable success. Building on these insights, Prof. Praveen Ranjan Srivastava, Dean REE, expressed his appreciation to the speakers, noting that their reflections added depth to the conclave by enriching the learning experience for the students.

Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director of IIM Rohtak, congratulated the students, staff, and faculty team for wonderfully organizing this exchange of thoughts, citing the necessity of an academic and industry interface for holistic learning of students.
