Chennai: MAN Industries (India) Limited, one of the leading Large Diameter Pipe manufacturing companies, has received a certificate of recognition from the Governor for committing over INR 2 crores to support various initiatives during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. 
 
Along with the financial support, the company has donated RT PCR Machine and COVID-19 testing kit imported from the USA to TATA Memorial Hospital and reconstructed the pediatric ward for children suffering from cancer. Being a responsible corporate citizen of the country, the company has also participated in a food distribution program for ISKON and Juhu Gurudwara and has contributed to the ration kits distribution program in villages in Anjar, Gujarat and Pithampur in MP. 
 
Commenting on this, Dr. R. C. Mansukhani, Chairman, Man Industries (India) Ltd said, "As a socially responsible corporate, we have always been supporting communities in difficult times, especially when it comes to the nation we are extra energized to contribute for the noble cause. With the COVID vaccine being administered to many, the company has drawn out an ambitious plan for the entire workforce to be vaccinated at all its locations. During the entire lockdown period, the company took care of all the employees and their families and did not deduct any salary or wages. Post the lockdown; the company ensured that not a single worker is retrenched.
