Malerkotla, January 13, 2024: Celebrating the vibrancy of Lohri and the birth of 12 little angels, the Malerkotla Police Lines swayed with festive fervour today. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh led the memorable celebrations, bringing together the entire police parivaar.
As the holy bonfire was lit, SSP Khakh offered prayers for the prosperity of the 12 newly born daughters of police personnel. Adding cheer, the families sang folk songs and danced in unison around the crackling flames. The Gazetted Officers presented shagun to the newborn girls, welcoming them into the force's family.
