Malad Masti Becomes the Pulse of Hope for Farmers
Festival Pledge to Support Lives Shattered by Rains
Mumbai (Anil Bedag): This year’s relentless monsoon has devastated the lives of thousands of farmers across the country. Standing crops were washed away, livelihoods were disrupted, and uncertainty loomed large over rural households. At a time when hope itself felt fragile, a compassionate initiative from Mumbai’s Malad emerged—where celebration went beyond entertainment and became a medium of meaningful support.
Held near Inorbit Mall on Malad Back Road, Malad Masti Season 9, organized by MLA Aslam Shaikh, witnessed participation from over 10,000 people, turning it into a memorable community event. What truly set this edition apart was its noble resolve: the entire profit from the festival has been dedicated to supporting farmers affected by the heavy rains in 2025.
The event was further energized by the presence of popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, actresses Ayesha Khan and Ishita Raj, among other well-known personalities. Performances by Aura, Pihu Chauhan, and Biswa Deb, along with comedian Rajeev Nigam, filled the morning with music, laughter, and positivity.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Aslam Shaikh urged citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle and remain socially responsible. With the support of Kishan Jain, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor, and the Mushro Events team, Malad Masti proved that when a city comes together, hope can truly travel from urban streets to rural fields.
