Maharashtra Set to Become a Solar Superpower, Energy Revolution Rises from Nagpur

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Maharashtra is rapidly positioning itself as a leader in India’s solar energy revolution. A major boost to this vision comes from Avaada Electro’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nagpur, where a high-capacity solar module is produced in just 16 seconds. This technological milestone was highlighted during a recent Channel Partner and EPC Meet, capturing the attention of industry leaders and reinforcing the state’s commitment to a sustainable future.
The company has introduced an advanced 720 WP N-type TOPCon solar module, capable of generating higher energy even in low-light conditions. This innovation is expected to significantly reduce electricity costs for both industrial and residential users. With a massive production capacity of 8.5 gigawatts, the fully automated facility is accelerating key initiatives like “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and the “PM Surya Ghar” scheme.
Avaada Group Chairman Vineet Mittal stated, “The Nagpur facility will play a crucial role in making solar energy accessible and affordable across Maharashtra and the country. Our goal is to deliver clean energy to every household.”
This initiative not only strengthens energy self-reliance but also creates new employment opportunities, paving the way for a stronger and greener future for Maharashtra.
