Maharana Partap Jayanti celebrated at Girls Hostel No.6

Chandigarh, June 2, 2022: The residents of Girls Hostel No. 6 today celebrated jayanti of Maharana Partap in the hostel premises under the guidance of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, P.U., Chd. and supervision of Prof. Jagtar Singh, DSW, Prof. Roupali, DSW(W) and Prof. Ashok Kumar, Associate DSW, P.U., Chandigarh.

Dr. Manisha Sharma, warden of the hostel, staff and residents offered flowers to Maharana Partap on his jayanti celebrations.

Dr. Manisha Sharma told about achievements of Maharana Partap to the residents. She said that he had self- respect and proud. We should adopt his precious thought in our lives. He had fought for his motherland till his last breath.  Maharana Partap was a brave yodha of India who had fought against mugals with bravery and not changed his religion for mugals. He fought against mugals in Haldi Ghati war. He tried to control the spreading of mugal empire in India. She also told about his brave horse ‘Chetak’ to the residents.

She said we should learn from the brave life of Maharana Partap. She wished residents on the occasion of Maharana Partap’s Jayanti.
