Mahant Balaknath Yogi Announces Free Education for Girls at BMU

Rohtak, April 16, 2026: A magnificent display of student creativity and talent was witnessed at 'Tarang-2026,' an event organized at Baba Mastnath University, Asthal Bohar.
Chancellor Mahant Balaknath Yogi made several key announcements during the occasion. Additionally, the new prospectus (information brochure) for the 2026-27 Academic Session was formally unveiled.
Mahant Balaknath Yogi said that education is not merely a means of employment, but rather a transformative force that provides direction to an individual's life. Prioritizing the education of girls in particular, he made a historic announcement: female students enrolled in the university's non-professional courses will be provided with free education. "Our endeavor is to ensure that no girl is deprived of education due to financial constraints," he affirmed.
Furthermore, keeping the convenience of students in mind, a free bus service was announced for all students studying at the university. Mahant Balaknath Yogi presented free laptops to students who had demonstrated outstanding academic performance. He also informed the gathering that the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for a medical college—complete with a state-of-the-art, 1,000-bed hospital—would soon be conducted within the university campus. Additionally, a cutting-edge B.Tech laboratory equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being established, which will house approximately 1,000 computers. A modern digital library and a dedicated mobile application are also set to be launched. He announced that construction work for a new hostel, capable of accommodating approximately 1,000 students, would commence this very year.
Speaking at the event, former Justice Girish Gupta remarked that this sacred land of Mastnath Yogi is a hallowed ground for education and moral values. During the ceremony, students, teachers, and members of the admissions advisory team who had excelled in academic, cultural, and other co-curricular activities were honored with certificates of appreciation. Winners of sports competitions were also felicitated. Vice-Chancellor Dr. B.M. Yadav proposed the vote of thanks. The event was attended by Registrar Dr. Vinod Kumar, Yogi Ramnath, Manish Kumar, Ankit Bansal, along with the university's faculty, staff, and students.
